MiCA Capital Requirements Explained

Article 67 - Own Funds Requirements

CASPs must maintain own funds at all times equal to or greater than the higher of: (a) the minimum capital requirement for their service class, or (b) one quarter of fixed overheads of the preceding year.

Service Classes

Class 1 (€50,000): Advisory and order transmission
Class 2 (€125,000): Placement and execution services
Class 3 (€150,000): Custody and exchange services
Class 4 (€150,000): Operating trading platforms
